Andy’s Speed Shop To Title Sponsor King Of Dirt Racing Sportsman In 2018

Andys

January 23, 2018 (Fonda, NY) – Last season Andy’s Speed Shop under the direction of perennial hall of fame Modified champion Mike Romano embarked on a journey with King Of Dirt Racing to offer drivers a little more if they hit victory lane. In 2018 Romano will once again offer up $250 bonuses making each KOD Sportsman victory worth a minimum of $1,250.

The famous Romano racing family name is one any racing fan would know. The team is fresh off another championship season at the great race place with Modified driver Peter Britten, but it’s Andy’s spot as title sponsor of the Sportsman Modified division where the family name ties into the upcoming King Of Dirt Racing season.

“Mike Romano has been working with us a couple seasons now and when the opportunity came up to move him into the title sponsor spot with naming rights of the Sportsman series, he once again didn’t hesitate to help out,” said King Of Dirt Racing Promoter Rob Hazer.

Andy’s Speed Shop will support each event with a $250 bonus. This makes each race during the KOD Sportsman tour worth a minimum of $1,250 to win except for the Northeast Crate Nationals at Albany-Saratoga. That event will be the culmination of the season in 2018 where we crown a champion and Romano’s bonus goes into the purse structure, as it’s one of the tours highest paying events.

Above and beyond Mike Romano and Andy’s Speed Shop are giving away a front axle of choice to one lucky Sportsman driver at the Night Of Champions banquet. The reward will be given via random draw to a driver present at the banquet.

Andy’s Speed Shop is located at 553 South Comrie Ave in Johnstown, NY. They can be found on the web at http://www.andys-speedshop.com, as well as on Facebook.
