October 1, 2018 (Fonda, NY) – Super Dirt Week 2018 is finally here and with it brings an exciting new year of KOD at SDW. The ‘Dirty Dozen’ features drivers from the King Of Dirt Racing tours who are competing at Super Dirt Week. Part one of the Race Pro Weekly exclusive will visit Bobby Varin, Connor Cleveland, Jason Casey, and Marc Johnson who are ready to tackle the ‘clay palace’ during racing’s biggest party. Let’s continue things with the 2018 king of the Pro Stock tour and 2-time series winner, Jason Casey.
Jason Casey is one of the most humble drives you’ll ever meet in any division. His sportsmanship is on another level, which is a direct result of his 2016 Award Of Excellence Honors. This season were his best efforts to date claiming two victories (Albany Saratoga/Lebanon Valley) climbing to the top of Pro Stock division along with battling for a track title in the valley of speed. He’s not done however, as he has his eyes on the biggest prize of the season in Oswego.
Casey will lead the full-fender drivers to the clay palace for a crack at winning the Super Dirt Week DIRTcar Racing 50-lap Pro Stock showdown. During the 2018 KOD tour he had a pair of wins, three top five finishes, and four top 10 finishes in five races. Casey also earned the lap leader honors for 2018 on the Pro Stock tour as well. The Dirt Rush Season One star has earned many accolades on the KOD tour, but would love to visit victory lane at racing’s biggest party.
“We’ve been going to Super Dirt Week about 15 years now. I think dad has one more year than I do, because I missed a few during the open motor era. I’m hoping to make the show and survive to the end of the 50 laps. I think that is a goal I we can obtain easily enough, but I’d really like to see one of us get the win out there,” said 2018 King Of Dirt Pro Stock Series champion Jason Casey.
With Super Dirt Week officially here this King Of Dirt Racing exclusive through Race Pro Weekly featuring the ‘Dirty Dozen’ continues with next with Marc Johnson.
