October 2, 2018 (Fonda, NY) – Super Dirt Week 2018 is finally here and with it brings an exciting new year of KOD at SDW. The ‘Dirty Dozen’ features drivers from the King Of Dirt Racing tours who are competing at Super Dirt Week. Part two features Jessey Mueller, Michael Sabia, Jay Casey, and Demetrios Drellos who are ready to tackle the ‘clay palace’ during racing’s biggest party. Let’s get this party started today with Dirt Rush Season 2 star Jessey Mueller.
Jessey Mueller has been a contender on the King Of Dirt Racing 358 Modified tour since the drop of the very first green flag in Vermont when he drove home to a second place finish in rather tough racing conditions. Since then he’s finished top 10 an astounding 10 times in 12 races on the KOD tour. He was able to celebrate victories at Albany Saratoga and Airborne Speedways this past summer along with staring in an episode of Dirt Rush Season two coming out this fall.
The heavy hauler is a high-flying, cushion-pounding, rolling ball of excitement behind the wheel of his Big or Small Block Modifieds. Heading into Super Dirt Week as part of the ‘Dirty Dozen’ Mueller looks to improve on his finish from last year in Oswego, where the best appearing car and crew suffered mechanical failure in the last chance qualifier while running inside the top five. This kept him on the sidelines for the Camping World 150.
Mueller spoke candidly about his efforts heading into Super Dirt Week saying, “We are headed into our fourth Dirt Week to compete and looking forward to showing up with our guns loaded and ready for battle. I’d love to time in the top six and lock in for the week so I can relax, enjoy the party, and get ready to race on the weekend. We have to make it to the end and hopefully we’ll be competitive enough to be up front.”
With Super Dirt Week officially here this King Of Dirt Racing exclusive through Race Pro Weekly featuring the ‘Dirty Dozen’ continues this afternoon with more driver news.
