Inspection Day Story Lines: Allison Ricci Instructed To Adjust Door Widths & Hood Scoop Opening To Pass Through DIRTcar Tech


October 2, 2018 (Oswego, NY) – Super Dirt Week early bird inspections continued throughout the rainy afternoon, which indicates the first racecar activities of the week in Oswego. Another driver who had minor issues in the DIRTcar tech ‘room of doom’ today included award winning 358 Modified tour driver Allison Ricci.

Per Race Pro Weekly sources on the ground DIRTcar tech officials had the highly popular racecar driver and team adjust door width by a small amount to conform to rules. Also Ricci was informed open hood scoops are not permitted by rule and was forced to close the hole up. The team made the adjustments and she passed inspection with no further issues.

The current and defending most popular KOD tour driver is now ready to take on dirt racings best at Super Dirt Week in her first ever attempt at competing in the Camping World 150 for 358 Modifieds.
