Inspection Day Story Lines: Marc Johnson Passes Through Tech & Ready For SDW After Slight Hangup Over Fuel Cell Bolts

October 2, 2018 (Oswego, NY) – Super Dirt Week tradition starts with early bird inspections, which indicates the first race car activities of the week in Oswego. Many drivers passed through the ‘room of doom’ today including 2017 King Of Dirt 358 Modified Champion Marc Johnson who faced small infractions according to DIRTcar tech inspectors.

Both Johnson’s Big Block and Small Block Modified rides failed to pass tech on their first pass through due to fuel tank bolts not meeting seal requirements per Race Pro Weekly sources. The Johnson Racing, Lebanon Springs Excavating, and Boss Mechanical team made the proper adjustments and passed through the line for re-inspection without an issue.

The ‘white knight’ is ready to take on dirt racings best at the clay palace in Oswego, NY in both the Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux 200 for Big Block Modifieds and the Camping World 150 for 358 Modifieds.
