October 3, 2018 (Oswego, NY) – Super Dirt Week 2018 is underway for the King Of Dirt Racing ‘Dirty Dozen’ drivers at the clay palace. KOD at SDW is powered by Race Pro Weekly exclusively and features full articles through the digital media giant, however we’ve broken down the news into individual driver info blasts for your reading pleasure. To read full article click the link to Race Pro Weekly below in the comments. We conclude this afternoon with KOD Pro Stock award winning competitor Jon Routhier.

Jon Routhier has spent the past three seasons on the King Of Dirt Racing Pro Stock tour. He almost won the Newcomer of The year a few seasons ago and has steadily improved his place among the top contenders on the full-fender tour. During this season’s tour he had a top five finish along with four top 10’s in five races. Safe to say ‘Rudy’ has earned a seat at the table of title contenders.

The award winning KOD Pro Stock driver found himself in the midst of a point battle this year with some friends from the neighborhood in Canaan Connecticut and wound up third in points, which is his best effort to date. The driver he was trying to climb past in the point standings was the same driver he had an epic tour race with in the valley of speed last season. Routhier is up for the challenges ahead at Super Dirt week, but he’s confident he can have a strong run.

Routhier said about his upcoming Super Dirt Week experience, “I’ve been racing dirt week since around 2000, but I like the racing at Oswego, because it’s similar to what I’m used to. Doing well in the time trials and getting a good starting spot up front is important to compete for a win, but keeping the car in one piece is important also so we can go to Charlotte. I look forward to time trials, because we seem to do well.”

With Super Dirt Week officially here this King Of Dirt Racing exclusive through Race Pro Weekly featuring the ‘Dirty Dozen’ is for your racing enjoyment. We spend a lot of time giving publicity to KOD tour drivers who earned a spot in the ‘Dirty Dozen.’ We hope you’ve enjoyed this three-part driver documentary from King Of Dirt Racing.
